“It is no measure of health to be well adjusted to a profoundly sick society.”
Can you see through the fog?
On nights like this,
the only solace i seem to find
comes from the unrequited rhythms, and beats of the one and only Miles Davis.
i sit
and sip on my chamomile tea
and stare at the screen
unaware
of anything but
these
rid-
iculous
notes swirling through the speakers into my mind.
the moon shines through my window,
upon the small of the cup
yes
its nights like these
that make
being alone
so
tantalizing..
Miles Davis never had written notes,
he played whatever note he felt like in every single song he produced.
which is why every song (even if the same) sounds a bit different.
What if.. we lived our lives the way Davis played his songs?
just
a few crazy
thoughts
